Trio of Cal State University campuses look to keep first-year students in school

The Cal State University campuses of Long Beach, Dominguez Hills and Northridge are among the 44 U.S. institutions participating in a project called “Re-imagining the First year of College.” The American Association of State Colleges and Universities is coordinating the endeavor, which has been designed as a three-year project intended to improve the overall college experience and encourage students to proceed from their first to second year.
