Not sure how to take the next step to become a collegiate coach, Torres spoke with longtime Ventura College coach Ned Mircetic, who advised her to continue her education and put in the work on the court. Torres earned her bachelor’s at Cal State Northridge in 2012 and coached the JV team at Oxnard Channel Islands High in 2012-2013.
