Previously, Villa held leadership positions at hospitals in California and Nevada. He has been active with non-profit and civic organizations in the communities where he has lived, most recently as a volunteer with the Boys and Girls Club and a board member of the economic development agency. He holds master’s and bachelor’s degrees in health administration, both from California State University Northridge.
