The 5-day radKIDS (Resisting Aggression Defensively) program teaches positive, safe choices for children to handle abuse, bullying and abduction as well as everyday safety issues. It gives children confidence, skills and self-esteem to recognize, resist and if necessary, escape violence.
The 10-hour program is taught over the course of five, two-hour days and covers a wide range of subjects including, but not limited to:
* Safety at home, at play and at school
* Vehicle & personal safety
* Responses to bullying
* Realistic physical defense skills against abduction
* Good, bad and uncomfortable touch
* Internet safety
* Planning for emergencies such as fire and natural disasters
Cost per child is $10 for all five days and includes all materials and a parent manual.Class size is limited. Parents are encouraged, but not required, to attend. radKIDS also entitles graduated radkids to practice and return until their 13th birthday, FREE!
