Career Aspiration: After Gerardo graduates from CSUN, he plans to continue his education in hopes of receiving his Ph.D. He would like to become a scientific researcher for the Environmental Protection Agency.
About the Scholarship: Bob Finkelstein is an alumnus of the Environmental and Occupation Health Department and served as the president of the alumni chapter for many years. Bob and his wife, Stefanie DuBois, have frequently volunteered their time to the college and have kept student success at the forefront of their priorities. They established this scholarship to provide financial assistance to an undergraduate (upper-division) or graduate student who demonstrates excellence and shows potential to be an outstanding environmental and occupational health professional.
