Biography

Wayne earned a Ph.D. from the School of Information Systems and Technology at Claremont Graduate University in 2008.

Professionally, he has worked or consulted in IT in industries as diverse as automobile racing manufacturing (accounting systems), aerospace (finite-element analysis), major magazine printing (production/imposition), and higher education (IT management).  He has done public-sector consulting at both the State-(strategic dashboards) and County-levels (decision-support training plans).  He has also done pro-bono work for a large Police Department, and litigation consulting in the area of information technology.

Academically, he has taught both undergraduate and graduate business courses at CSU Northridge, CSU Channel Islands, and UC Irvine.  He has taught undergraduate accounting and computer science courses at Santa Monica College.  At CSUN, Wayne primarily teaches BUS 302 (Business Gateway), MGT 360 (Mgt./Org. Behavior Principles), MGT 458 (Decision-making and Creativity), and UNIV 100 (freshmen).
