Nazarian College Alumnus, Chuck Noski, to Serve on EY US Independent Audit Quality Committee
CSUN Nazarian College alumnus Charles (Chuck) H. Noski has been elected as one of three inaugural members of the recently formed Independent Audit Quality Committee (IAQC). The IAQC, created by Ernst & Young LLP (EY US), will work closely alongside global independent non-executive directors (INEs) in order to share insight and advice across the EY organization. Senior leadership will be advised by the IAQC when dealing with important aspects of the firm’s business, operations, culture, talent strategy, governance, and risk management that affect audit quality.
“Our globally interconnected economy brings new complexity to the audit, and my experience in a variety of roles positions me well to advise on related matters,” said Mr. Noski. “I looked forward to working with Jeanette and Bill as EY continues to enhance the high-quality work on which our capital markets and other stakeholders rely.”
Noski currently holds the position of Chairman of the Board for the Financial Accounting Association (FAF), which provides the authoritative accounting standards in the United States and oversees the administration, financing, and selection of the United States’ Financial Accounting Standards Board (GASB). Before his appointment, he held senior leadership positions at businesses such as Bank of America, Northrop Grumman Corporation, and AT&T. Noski also worked at Big Four accounting firm Deloitte for twenty years prior.
With his relevant experience and leadership in the industry, Noski will help EY deliver high-quality audits that strengthen confidence in the U.S. capital and global markets. (Read the Official Press Release from EY News Here.)
