CSUN’s Master of Science in Taxation program was recently ranked within the top 15 programs in three publications: Masters Program Guide, Great Business Schools and GradSchool Hub.
The program was ranked No. 6 nationally by Masters Program Guide, and No. 3 on Great Business Schools’ 10 Most Affordable Master’s in Taxation Degrees for 2021. Both lists mentioned its affordability as well as the various departmental programs in which students can practice the material they learn.
GradSchool Hub’s Best Online Master’s in Taxation list placed the program at the No. 14 spot. It used public data from sources like the National Center for Education Statistics and the U.S. Department of Labor, which were then organized into five weighted categories: alumni feedback, continued enrollment, degree selectivity, graduate expenses and projected annual salary.
The Master of Science in Taxation program is offered by the David Nazarian College of Business and Economics’ Department of Accounting and Information Systems in partnership with the Tseng College.
“The Master of Science in Taxation program ranks so highly because of the quality of our faculty, curriculum and students,” said Chandra Subramaniam, dean of the Nazarian College. “The program integrates theory and practice throughout the curriculum and is taught by faculty who are leading professionals in the field. Both of these factors add immeasurably to our students’ learning experience.”
