Wells Fargo Continues to Support Financial Education at CSUN VITA Clinic

For millions of low-income taxpayers, filing tax returns adds another level of anxiety on how to manage the added expense with their current cost of bills and rent. Wells Fargo (WSF) is trying to relieve that stress from low-income taxpayers by awarding California State University, Northridge $50,000 to continue building and expanding its Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Clinic in CSUN’s David Nazarian College of Business and Economics. CSUN Continues Program to Help Veterans with Their Taxes

California State University, Northridge announced the start of its 2020 free tax preparation initiative for veterans. CSUN, with support from Citi, has trained dozens of military veterans as IRS-certified tax preparers with the goal of assisting an estimated 4,500 of their veteran peers in filing their taxes in Los Angeles County.
