Wells Fargo Bank Continues to Support CSUN VITA Clinic to Help Low-Income Taxpayers

VITA Clinic Volunteer Assisting Taxpayer

The impact of COVID-19 over the past year has brought on additional hardship for many low-income taxpayers. With “stay-at-home” orders in place, on-and-off throughout the pandemic, the idea of filing taxes was made more stressful for taxpayers in need of services provided by CSUN’s VITA Clinic.

Wells Fargo (WSF) is trying to relieve that strain by awarding California State University, Northridge $50,000 in launching and expanding the virtual services offered by its Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Clinic in CSUN’s David Nazarian College of Business and Economics. Read more

Nazarian College Graduate Named CSUN’s 2021 Wolfson Scholar

David Nazarian College of Business and Economics graduate, Daniel Bustos, has been named CSUN’s 2021 Wolfson Scholar, the highest honor awarded to one graduating senior.

“I am humbled to be selected as CSUN’s 2021 Wolfson Scholar Award recipient,” said Bustos. “CSUN has provided me with tremendous opportunities to develop academically, professionally, and personally. Over the past few years, I have had the chance to work alongside distinguished professors, receive mentorship from highly impressive alumni, and create life-long friendships. As a proud CSUN alumnus, I am passionate about giving back to the next generation of CSUN students and graduates in any way that I can.” Read more
