A blockbuster collaboration with the Frederick R. Weisman Art Foundation brings some of the most important contemporary art of the 20th century to the San Fernando Valley. In keeping with the CSUN Galleries’ commitment to examine landmark art movements through regional lenses, the exhibition gathers works made in California from the 1960s to now by 40+ boundary-busting artists including household names like Lita Albuquerque, John Baldessari, Mary Corse, David Hockney, and Ed Ruscha. The exhibition is curated by Billie Milam Weisman, who serves as the director and president of the Foundation.
Opening reception: Saturday, February 4, 3 to 5 pm
