The Marilyn Magaram Center celebrated its 27th Anniversary on Friday, June 15th.
For 27 years, the Marilyn Magaram Center for Food Science, Nutrition and Dietetics at California State University, Northridge has worked to enhance health and well-being in the community through research, education, programs and services while educating future professionals in the fields of nutrition and food science. A community organization within CSUN’s Department of Family and Consumer Sciences in the College of Health and Human Development, the Marilyn Magaram Center has provided a framework for collaboration among students, faculty, professionals, businesses, community organizations and industries in related fields. Today, Matadors continue to demonstrate the center’s commitment to education and health promotion in Los Angeles and beyond.
Thank you to all who were part of our celebration!
