On Monday, April 9th, 2018, we were proud to present our 6th Annual Public Policy Day. This year the theme was "Health in Every Policy." We had numerous guest speakers come in and discuss current health policies in California. Toward the end of the event, students created video messages to California Representatives Jimmy Panetta and Jim Costa thanking them for continuing to protect funding for CalFresh and SNAP-Ed within the Farm Bill. They also created video messages asking California Representatives Jeff Denham and Doug LaMalfato to protect funding for CalFresh and SNAP-Ed within the Farm Bill. See the videos below:
