Staying Healthy While Staying Home: How to Roast Artichokes and Alternative Uses for Herb

Springtime brings new growth and is a variety of different vegetables to choose from. In this workshop, you will learn how to grow artichokes, regrow fresh herbs in your garden or window seal, as well alternative uses of herbs in teas. In addition, there will be a food demonstration in which you will learn: how to cut and roast an artichoke and its health benefits. 

What participants will need: To make the recipe at home, participants will need the following kitchen equipment: cutting board, knife, sheet pan, oven/toaster oven/air fryer, and measuring tools. Ingredients needed are: artichokes, olive oil, lemon, garlic, shallot, capers, crumbled feta cheese (optional), fresh or dried Dill, and honey.
