Dr. Genevieve Evans Taylor serves as the Chief of Staff to the President at California State University, Northridge. As the Chief of Staff, Dr. Evans Taylor researches key policy/program matters for use of the President and coordinates campus-wide projects and initiatives.
Prior to CSUN, Genevieve served as the Chief of Staff to Presidents Erika D. Beck and Richard R. Rush at CSU Channel Islands. As Chief of Staff, Genevieve coordinated various university-wide initiatives including the strategic priorities planning process, initiating a President’s Advisory Council for Inclusive Excellence and the President’s Advisory Board on Cultural Protocols, launching the Ombuds and Title IX offices, and creating the leadership programs of CI Connect, LEAD CI and a President’s Faculty Fellow Program.
Genevieve has extensive leadership curriculum development and facilitation experience and has served as a keynote speaker or panelist at higher education conferences, leadership academies, as well as youth and women’s conferences.
Prior to CSU Channel Islands, Genevieve worked at the University of South Dakota in various areas including the campus Student Union, student activities office, fraternity/sorority affairs and orientation.
