As you may have noticed, there have been some changes to the CSUN website and Portal. These redesigns include a new look and new features for the CSUN community.
New CSUN Portal
For the redesign of the CSUN Portal, a cross-divisional group of students, faculty, and staff collected campus-wide input beginning in October 2021. After analyzing the data, work began on redesigning the Portal, which launched in Summer of 2022.
Continuing this fall, the current phase of the CSUN Portal rollout is for making refinements. In Spring 2023, new improvements will be launched with functionality not previously available in the old myNorthridge Portal.
The old myNorthridge Portal will still be up and readily available for the first week and a half of classes, ending on September 3rd. After that, the myNorthridge Portal will still be available, but there will be a form first asking what features you are using in the myNorthridge Portal.

New CSUN Website
The new CSUN website, which launched in Summer 2022, represents a more than two-year effort. One exciting new feature is the new Program Finder located on the homepage, which encourages students or potential students to explore the many programs and majors that CSUN offers.
There’s also the new MyCSUN link, which you’ll find on all pages with the new design. This offers constant access to frequently used resources like the CSUN Portal, student, staff and faculty email, as well as Canvas, Zoom, and more.
While the homepage and other select pages have the new design, more pages will be migrated through Spring 2023 to the updated look.
