Technology Procurement Accessibility Committee

Overview

The Technology Procurement Accessibility Committee (TPAC) advises the Executive Technology Steering Committee (ETSC), and provides oversight for consistent, efficient technology procurement accessibility review processes to ensure continuous improvement related to accessibility in the procurement of academic and administrative technologies, both hardware and software. The committee meets monthly during the academic year and during the summer as needed.  

Responsibilities

Provides recommendations to the ETSC to support consistent streamlined processes that enable the procurement of accessible technology products and services, including:

  • Review and implementation of technology procurement accessibility policies, standards, and identification of best practices and recommend them to the ETSC for adoption.
  • Review and provide guidance on the annual technology procurement accessibility reports
