The Ethics of Giving Within and Outside of the Jewish Community

What does Jewish thought and law really say about the obligation to give to others?  To whom should Jews be providing assistance, and why?

 Rabbi Kaufman has served as a campus and community rabbi and teacher, school principal, college administrator, social worker, and program organizer for all ages and backgrounds. He promotes Jewish learning and rejoicing through classes, celebrations, concerts, kosher camping, retreats, seminars, and social service.
