But According to the Workplace Bullying Institute, 14 % of all workplace bullying in the U.S. is bullying by direct reports or people with less organizational authority. This workshop explores how to mitigate the conditions that allow this form of bullying to occur and to get through it when it does. Participants will learn how to identify behaviors associated with upward bullying, how to engage leaders to address it, and how to use participants own power to re-orient bullying behavior toward shared goals. The learning will be through presentation, web-based polls, and interactive discussion as a group and in breakout rooms.
