There is an updated CSUN Canvas Template developed collaboratively with Academic Technology, Faculty Development, and Faculty Fellows. The new template has also been created with CSU’s Quality Learning and Teaching Standards, equity-minded teaching, and Universal Design and accessibility principles in mind. Participants in this clinic will:

  • Learn how to import the Canvas Template into their Canvas Course
  • Learn best practices on migrating existing course content into the CSUN Canvas Template
  • Work directly from CSUN Faculty and Staff involved in the template development

Generative text products like ChatGPT have been making headlines for a few months now. As awareness of these tools grows so does the likelihood that students will use them for their assignments. As a response to this, one of the most frequent questions we have received in the past couple of months is “what can we do to find out if our students have used AI”?

We are happy to let you know that our partners at TurnItIn have released their new AI writing detecting tool. Join us in this workshop to learn all about this new feature.

Most people are aware of the dangers of too much time in the sun. In today's webinar, you will learn about ultraviolet rays and what you can do to prevent sun damage. You will also be able to identify the signs of heat-related illness and ways to cool down. You will be invited to create a realistic action plan that will help you take positive steps toward avoiding heat related illness.

Presented by Kaiser Permanente in partnership with CSUN Benefits Administration. You do not need to be a Kaiser Permanente member to participate in this program.
