HR News Campus Updates & Events | September 2022

Start off the new academic year by engaging with new and old colleagues and participating in new events, meetings, and workshops offered throughout campus this month.  We hope you'll take advantage of the information highlighted below.

COVID-19 Information and Safety Protocol Updates

The well-being of our campus community is paramount, and our campus health and safety procedures and practices will continue unchanged from the summer months.

Masking

CSUN requires masks to be worn in classrooms, laboratories and the University Library. The wearing of masks is strongly recommended, but not required, in all other indoor spaces and outdoors.

Daily Health Screening Survey

Everyone coming to campus must complete a health screening survey prior to arriving at campus.

Vaccinations and Boosters

In compliance with the California State University’s COVID-19 vaccination policy, all employees who are accessing campus facilities must certify full vaccination and, if eligible, booster shot status. Medical or religious exemption may be requested. If you have not already done so, please visit the COVID-19 Information page to self-certify your vaccination status or request an exemption.

COVID-19 Information page

All COVID-19 policies and protocols now can be found on the COVID-19 Information page.

Remember, this is a collective responsibility. Thank you for doing your part to keep our campus community safe and healthy.
