Cultural Competence and Humility | CSU CCC Class

This session is offered by CSU Stanislaus, participating with Northridge in a Professional & Personal Development Cross Campus Collaboration program.

Colleagues attending this session may hail from the Chancellor’s Office, Bakersfield, Channel Islands, Chico, East Bay, Fresno, Fullerton, Humboldt, Long Beach, Monterey Bay,  Pomona, Sacramento, San Bernardino, San Diego, San Francisco, San Luis Obispo, San Marcos, Sonoma, and Stanislaus. 

Description:

This workshop will provide an overview of the basic concepts and principles of Cultural Competence and Humility within the context of Higher Education. Learn how each of these concepts may be applied in real life to promote inclusivity, enhance our self-awareness and understanding of our diverse student populations.
