Community Members
Who We Are
We at the HERE Center work together with faculty, students, and community to improve health equity in the San Fernando Valley and surrounding Los Angeles area through research, education, and advocacy.
What We Do
We work with our community partners, students, and faculty collaborators on projects that will contribute to different areas of community health and research education. Our approach to health equity is done through research, education and training, community engagement, and advocacy for change in clinical practice and policy.
If you identify a need for health education, the HERE Center can be your ally. If you would like support to advance policy, the HERE Center can be your ally. Our strengths lie in our expertise, commitment to engage in community partnerships and network across the CSUN campus and greater Los Angeles.
Where the HERE Center is limited, we will facilitate connecting community members to professionals and experts that may also be allies.
