Riccomini, an advocate of higher education who wanted to provide opportunities for college success to those for whom financial need might otherwise be a barrier. These scholarships are intended to support CSUN students who demonstrate financial need, are in good academic standing with the university, show a desire and commitment to succeed in their academic careers, and have successfully completed University 100.
