2023 marks the 8th Annual Jeff Marine Bull Ring New Venture Competition Finals, "Shark Tank Meets Matadors," held by the Nazarian College of Business and Economics. HHD has had various teams competing since the competition began. This year we had teams from the Marilyn Magaram Center and well as from a multidisciplinary course project that was spearhead by Rodica Kohn/Kristin King (Family and Consumer Sciences/Interior Design). Also competing were Joanne Scillitoe (Entrepreneurship), and Paula Fischhaber (Biochemistry).
Teams from the multidisciplinary course and from the Magaram Center made it to the semi-finals, though not to the finals. HHD congratulates the student teams and their faculty supervisors for making it to the semi-finals and encourages you to support CSUN's five finalist teams as they pitch their businesses to a panel of distinguished judges, ultimately competing for $25,000 in cash prizes. The event is free to attend and open to the community.
