“Future Currents: LA River,” is a large-scale CSUN collaboration to raise awareness about the Los Angeles River. Eco-artist Lynn Neuman worked with Kinesiology/Dance faculty Paula Thomson to choreograph a dance about the river, which our dance students performed at the 2018 fall Collaboratoria dance concert. Principally, our campus colleagues in the Mike Curb College of Arts, Media, and Communication (MCAMC) worked with local and national artists to foster student creations about the river. The MCAMC will host a multidisciplinary festival on the common theme of the river, showcasing the artworks and our students' dance performance at the Soraya on April 5. Read more
