Thesis Talks

Thesis Talks are designed to be 8-minute presentations by HHD graduate student researchers that will engage an audience using dynamic photos, key charts, graphs, and other multimedia tools to share their research in relatable terms. By breaking the “traditional” academic conference format, graduate students will learn to share their work in a relevant and compelling manner that appeals to broader audiences while really elevating their public speaking skills. Priority will be given to low-income and/or first-generation graduate students and Hispanic/Latino students.
The Kinesiology Department is well represented in this event totaling 24 presentations so far.
