BSPH Program Overview
The Bachelor of Science in Public Health is offered through the California State University, Northridge (CSUN) Department of Health Sciences, part of the College of Health and Human Development. The BSPH program serves students interested in pursuing careers in public health. The program prepares students to plan, implement, and evaluate health and human service programs and work in the field of public health. Graduates of the BSPH program are employed by public and private health agencies (city, county, state, and national), hospitals, schools, corporations, nonprofit, and professional consulting organizations. Upon completion of the BSPH program, eligible students are encouraged to apply for admission to the Master of Public Health Program.
BSPH Course Plans
For the BSPH program, students must complete four consecutive courses over a 2 year period.
CEPH Accreditation
Our MPH program has been accredited by the Council of Education for Public Health (CEPH) since 1971.
