Our fashion design students bring their creations to life on the runway. The fashion show production class and TRENDS produce the show by highlighting the design through ambiance and fluidity on the runway and throughout the venue.
The show is a collaborative effort between TRENDS members, the Fashion Show Production class in Family and Consumer Sciences' Apparel Design and Merchandising program, and graduating student designers. If you're looking for inspiration beyond the ordinary, this is Transcendent!
About the student organization: TRENDS helps students gain the knowledge and preparation needed to work in the fashion industry. For over 20 years, TRENDS has involved students, faculty, and fashion industry professionals in relevant and meaningful conversations related to the apparel industry through events such as the TRENDS Career Symposium, the TRENDS Annual Fashion Show, and various industry tours and events. TRENDS’ mission is to prepare its members for future careers in the fashion and textile fields through the development of a strong foundation in design, textiles and merchandising culture and technique backed with real industry experiences.
