Center of Achievement through Adapted Physical Activity

swimmer gets out of wheelchair to swim in center of achievement poolThe Center of Achievement provides adapted therapeutic exercise programs for people with moderate to severe disabilities in land-based fitness programs using a wide range of specialized equipment.  Fitness programs are also available in the water - free of gravity - in four treatment-specific pools, through the Abbott and Linda Brown Western Center for Adaptive Aquatic Therapy within the Center of Achievement.

For over 45 years, the Center has provided compassionate service to the community while training CSUN students as professionals in adapted exercise and fitness programs. Clients say the Center brings fitness, hope and most of all, achievement. Clients, families and caregivers alike tell us they find comfort, social connection and friendship here.   Visit the website for the Center.
