The template has also been created with CSU’s Quality Learning and Teaching Standards, equity-minded teaching, and Universal Design and accessibility principles in mind.
Participants in this clinic will:
- Learn how to import the Canvas Template into their Canvas Course
- Learn best practices on migrating existing course content into the CSUN Canvas Template
Panopto Basics

Panopto is the Lecture Recording video tool used at CSUN. Learn what Panopto is and how you can apply it in your classroom. Participants will learn the following:
- How to access Panopto
- Difference between app and website
- How to navigate within Panopto
- How to locate your recordings
- How to export Panopto Videos
- How to add your recordings to Canvas
- How to import previous recordings
Canvas Basics

If you are new to teaching or have never used Canvas, this course can help you with the fundamentals. Participants will learn the following:
- How navigate in Canvas
- Uploading files
- How to create pages and modules
- How to setup Assignments
- How to setup Discussions
