Beyond Captions: Audio Descriptions

This session demonstrates how to upload and create audio descriptions to your Panopto videos in the Panopto Editor. And how to do them using campus resources (Panopto). Audio descriptions provide all students with visual context of what is being presented in a Panopto video. These descriptions will be read out loud during the video's playback. Video Accessibility

Creating accessible videos ensure that all students, regardless of their abilities can access the content includes captions, a transcript, and audio description. Panopto is a new solution, integrated with Canvas and Zoom, that provides lecture recording, screencasting, video streaming, automated captioning, and video content management software.
