“No Education is Wasted”: How Erin Hong Did a 180 Into Aerospace Engineering

Erin Hong, an accomplished electromechanical controls engineer at The Aerospace Corporation, orchestrates teams and directs projects centered on testing and characterizing a diverse range of sensors and actuators, including gyroscopes and motors. Additionally, she spearheads the development of innovative robotic testbeds and extends critical launch vehicle support to government clientele.

This wasn't her original educational path though. After some deep introspection, she migrated from a career focused on her double bachelor's in Economics and Linguistics to pursuing Mechanical Engineering at CSUN.
