If you are a researcher, engineer, consultant or policy-maker in the field of Renewable Energy and Advanced Energy Storage Technology, you are invited to participate in this 3rd regional conference at California State University, Northridge, to exchange innovative ideas and visions of the future of a “Greener” California.
This one day conference, hosted by the CSUN College of Engineering and Computer Science, has been designed to bring together universities, industries, R & D laboratories & Government agencies to propel Renewable Energy and Advanced Energy Storage Technology into the future. It will feature invited speakers, poster presentations, and a tour of the Campus renewable energy facilities, thus providing a unique opportunity for communication and collaboration between academia and industry.

Call for Posters
Conference Topics: Solar Energy, Wind Energy, Geothermal Energy, Energy Storage, Energy Recovery, Energy Efficiency and Sustainability, Frequency Regulation, Risk management. Posters related to other areas of renewable energy will also be considered for presentation.

Poster Preparation
Posters can be prepared on ordinary A4, A5, or 8 1/2" x 11" size paper. Larger sheets may also be used. All lettering and diagrams should be large enough to be read from a minimum of 2 meters (6 feet). Authors are urged to use colors, symbols and schemes to improve clarity.
Suggested lettering size is 3 cm (1-1/4") for the poster title and 2 cm (3/4") for names and addresses of authors and section headings, such as ABSTRACT, INTRODUCTION METHODS, RESULTS, DISCUSSION AND SUMMARY.

Payment should be made via check or money order payable to CSUN (cash and card payments not accepted).
In order to receive and process payments in a timely manner, all fees must be postmarked by the November 2 deadline. Fees not sent in by November 2 should be held and presented at the time of check in on the day of event.

Parking
CREST 2018 attendees may opt to utilize the G3 parking structure, which is located closest to the University Student Union, East Conference Center. A map with directions to the G3 parking structure can be found here: CREST 2018 Parking Map
General Parking Information:
Guest parking permits will allow you to park in any guest, staff, faculty, or student space on campus. The permit is not valid in metered parking (which make parking permits void, and require payment), disabled parking spaces (which require an ADA placard in addition to the parking permit), Special Use spaces, Reserved spaces, State Vehicle spaces, grass areas, or red curbed areas.
Parking permits are required at all times in all areas of campus. Parking permits must be properly displayed to avoid parking citations. To be valid, the parking permit must be affixed to the vehicle front inside windshield, lower corner, passenger side, while parked at CSUN. The entire permit must be visible including serial number and security features.
