COE Self-Care Activities Week Three

February 15, 2016

Dear COE staff and faculty,

We continue our self-care activities with two events this week! On Monday, Feb. 15th from 12:15-12:45, we continue our Walk to Lunch Mondays with Maria King. We will meet in Ed 1218 and walk to a new location each week, pick up lunch, and walk back in time to eat. Last week we stopped at a student food store on campus that had gluten free items. Who knew?

On Tuesday, Feb. 16th from 2 to 2:30 pm we continue our Journey into Mindfulness and Meditation in the CTL Conference Room on the first floor of the Education Building. Diane Gehart will be our leader this week. Come find out why more people are joining this healing self-care activity under Diane and Josh's leadership!

AND HERE ARE TWO REMINDERS:

1. We are still collecting names for the raffle for two free semester long passes to be given out for the Student Recreation Center--a value of $163 for free. Drop your name in a jar in the Department of Educational Psychology and Counseling Office through Friday Feb. 19th if you would like to get in on this great opportunity!

2. We now have a date for the presentation called "We've got to get BACK To THE (sustainable) GARDEN" by the Theodore Payne Foundation for Wild Flowers and Native Plants! Mark your calendars for Tuesday, March 1st from 12-1 in Ed 1214/1216 and come hear about spring gardening with native plants!

Warmly,
Shari
