COE Self-Care Activities Week Nine

November 7, 2016

Dear College of Education Staff and Faculty,

This Tuesday is a very big day for all of us as we vote for our next president. For many, this election has been a stressful experience. As a way to support COE faculty and staff, we will be holding a special compassion and well-being meditation session from 2-2:30PM in the CTL conference room on the first floor of the Education Building.

And for you out there who love finding beautiful, water resistant, indigenous plants, there is good news! There are native lavenders available for sale at the Theodore Payne nursery. :) Go to https://theodorepayne.org/plants-and-seeds/nursery/retail-nursery/ to learn more about the Desert Lavender Silver foliage which has the lavender scent and purple flowers, and is a favorite of hummingbirds and bees.

Please watch for weekly emails on upcoming self-care activities, and keep checking the self-care website.

Below are November self-care activities:

  • Every Tuesday this semester from 2-2:30 in the CTL conference room on the first floor of the Education Building : Mindfulness, meditation, and relaxation. Come take advantage of regular mediation sessions!
