Dr. Denise Emmerling-Baker Speaks at NEA Retired Conference

Adjunct Ed. Psych. (since 2020) Professor Denise Emmerling-Baker EdD will be speaking at the annual National Education Association Retired Conference in Chicago, Monday March 4^th "Can We Talk? Calling Each Other In To Advance Racial and Social Justice (Dr. Hilario Benzon NEA & Dr. Denise Emmerling-Baker).

She is a national trainer with Human Rights Campaign Welcoming Schools and has been working the year with Elk Grove Unified School District, CA on Preventing Bias Based Bullying. This is the fourth year she will host a reading for HRC's National Day of Reading and encourages others to host a reading as well to show support for and affirm transgender and non-binary youth.
