While this semester has been remarkably challenging, our students, faculty and staff have shown extraordinary tenacity and ability to adapt to these challenges. Alternate learning modalities have now been extended through the entirety of the spring semester. Effective as a soon as possible but no later than the end of day Friday, March 20, staff who are not directly instructed to work on campus in person should not come to campus. CSUN will maintain Student Housing and CSUN Dining under these emergency circumstances so long as there is a need to do so, but Student Housing residents who can are encouraged to explore alternate living arrangements. Commencement exercises, hooding ceremonies, and department/credential receptions have been postponed until after the pandemic crisis subsides. Read the full message from President Harrison

Dr. Diane Gehart (Department of Educational Psychology & Counseling) has recently been published in the Journal of Marital and Family Therapy. Her article, "The Condensed MFT Core Competencies: A Streamlined Approach for Measuring Student and Supervisee Learning Using the MFT Core Competencies", can be found online.

Dr. Pete Goldschmidt (Professor, Department of Educational Psychology & Counseling) is Principal Investigator on “Evaluating English Language Progress Models: The Sensitivity of Claims about Progress across State Models.” This $2.4 million project is sponsored by Competitive Grants for State Assessment Programs.
