DACA Protections Upheld, Work for Permanent Relief Continues

To the Campus Community,
Today is a welcome reminder of the promise of our country. This morning, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled to retain the protections for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), which provides work permits and protection from deportation for close to 700,000 DACA recipients. At CSUN, the ruling means that many members of our campus community — students, faculty and staff — have a temporary reprieve from the threats of deportation. Read more
