New Student Registration - How to Register

Weekday classes begin Mon, August 26.
Sat-only & Fri-Sat classes begin August 24.

How to Register
Plan your schedule with an academic advisor and the Degree Planning Tools in your CSUN Portal under "Academics" in the top navigation. Then get ready to enroll!
  1. Look for and clear registration holds in your CSUN Portal Checklist and clear them. Complete the "Not Anymore" online training to clear the "T9" hold. Helpful: How to Access Title IX Training.
  2. You may not see an immunization hold for your first semester, but you will for your second semester if you haven’t met immunization standards. Find updates and instructions at Klotz Student Health Center Immunizations.
  3. Look for your enrollment date and time in your portal checklist. This is when your access to the online, self-service registration system begins. (If no appointment displays, you may be able to enroll right away.)
  4. Enroll in classes online when your appointment arrives and after, with an academic advisor if required. Helpful: How-To Guides
  5. Pay your tuition and other fees, which are due upon registration but no later than the Payment Due Dates. Visit the Student Finance website for:
