- Platinum 5 (VISPERO)
- Description

Requests for user consent like cookies, privacy policies, terms of service, and newsletter subscriptions are a constant on the web. But when these requests for consent are inaccessible, people with disabilities are denied the ability to opt out of services or set their own terms. Inaccessible consents and policies are everywhere, creating an unequal experience for users.
In this talk, you will learn:- Common mistakes that designers and developers make when creating requests for consent
- Deceptive patterns and how to avoid them
- How to make requests for consent accessible and usable
