- Date & Time

- Location

Platinum 4 (AMAZON)
- Description
-
Alexa is changing the way people shop, whether it’s providing reminders to reorder frequently purchased items, sharing product information that enables customers to ask questions, capturing needs for everyone in the household on a Shopping List by voice (or text), checking prices and more.
Voice makes shopping accessible for many customers with disabilities and especially for aging customers who can more easily complete tasks independently or seek help from a family caregiver.
In this session we will give an overview and demonstrate new Alexa functionalities that customers with disabilities can use: from asking product questions, ordering groceries and other everyday items, and collaborating with friends or family members. This is a non-technical talk designed to appeal to a broad audience. We will discuss both in-store shopping experiences as well as shopping from home.
This presentation will include a discussion of shopping through Echo devices, the Alexa App, and the Amazon App.
