- Date & Time
- Thursday, March 16, 2023 - 1:20 PM PST
- Location
- Platinum 2
- Description
-
In order for tables in a PDF file to be fully accessible, certain requirements need to be met and certain design practices are discouraged to avoid extra work that is required to make a PDF file accessible. Often times, users will design tables visually but when it comes to making those tables accessible, it can be a challenge. In this session we talk about the challenges that some table designs can present, and offer solutions to create a more accessible table for users of assistive technology. Learn how to work with complex tables to make them accessible but also learn how slight adjustments to table designs can make a huge difference.
