A clear, implementable strategy is key when product teams embark upon a journey of infusing accessibility considerations into their end-to-end development lifecycle. IBM Accessibility knows this firsthand, as enabling internal IBM teams with the guidance and tools they need to deliver accessible products has been a long-standing mission of the team. IBM Accessibility has developed a vetted playbook for integrating accessibility into the product development workflow that is replicable at enterprise scale, spanning product plan, design, development, verification, and product launch. We will share details and access to this playbook with attendees. Infusing accessibility across the product delivery lifecycle requires strategic action, as well as using the necessary tools. IBM has done the research in both areas, and in this session we will also take attendees through our recently announced, free and open source offerings that help product teams with their accessibility journeys, and share details of recent and forthcoming advancements.
