Description

WeWALK is a smart cane for the blind that detects obstacles at the head and chest level and warns the user. It supports voice interaction with its microphone, speaker, and touchpad. Paired with smartphones, users can take clockwise, turn-by-turn navigation through their cane. It can also gain new features through software updates. The visually impaired can access public transportation info through their cane. WeWALK was selected as one of the best inventions of 2019 by TIME Magazine.
