CTL Hosts Dr. Barry Prizant to Speak on Neurodiversity in Action

This semester, the Center for Teaching and Learning was proud to host their Education on the Edge speaker series with one of the world’s leading authorities on autism, Dr. Barry Prizant. Dr. Prizant spoke about Neurodiversity in Action to 150 participants from 11 different US states and 9 different countries! Folks from Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Canada, Sweden, Myanmar, South Africa, Hong Kong, and the US joined together to learn strategies for truly celebrating, embracing, and teaching students who are neurodivergent. Participants ranged from teachers, to administrators, to OT/PT/SLP, to parents, to individuals who self-identified as autistic.
