A panel discussion on the documentary Translucent with a focus on transgender identity & supporting students

Participants are kindly asked to watch translucent prior to this event by using the link below. translucent is the moving 24 minutes documentary about a young adult's gender transition journey and was a finalist for the 48th annual Student Academy Awards. CSUN alum, Avery Fox, the subject of the documentary and co-director of the film will join a diverse panel of varying perspectives on the topic of how educators and families can best support transgender individuals. Q&A will be encouraged. this session is intended to build on and go deeper into issues touched on in last semester's panel discussion.
