Using Social Media to Teach

Most people use social media as a way to connect with others. As higher education professionals and educators, we tend to view Social Media as a way to connect with students outside of the classroom. Additionally, the CSUN Career Center Instagram can be used as a teaching tool. It has been designed to educate and provide resources for faculty, staff, and students alike about job search, soft skills, networking, and many other career-related topics. Many articles found on the CSUN Career Center Instagram can be incorporated into class discussions or utilized as an additional resource for teaching career aspects in any course.
