Tuesday, September 24, 2019 - 12:00pm to 2:00pm
Location:The Oviatt Library is happily partnering with EveryLibrary to celebrate National Voter Registration Day, in which we will have a table in the Library Lobby to help voters get registered or re-registered, check on their registration status and educate patrons on getting election / polling place information.
As their campaign says "Voter Registration is a crucial aspect of a healthy democracy," and "last year, we helped over 300 libraries sign up to participate in this great program."
Staff will be available to answer your questions and help you get registered or re-registered and give you resources to stay informed, so that you can be empowered to take part in our democratic process on a local and national level. So please stop by on the 24th of September and let your voice be heard! Below are some resources you can use online to register, check your registration status, find a polling place and more.
