Care about rent prices? Gas prices? Homelessness? Come to the CA Voter Forum to find out how to make your voice count this election season.
Students in Jour365: News Literacy and Coms309: Advanced Public Speaking are on a mission – they want to raise awareness about the mid-term issues and deconstruct the campaign messaging that bombards us before the election.
The Oviatt Library, the Department of Journalism, and the Department of Communication Studies at the Mike Curb College of Arts, Media and Communication proudly bring you our California Voter Forum: Get to Know the Ballot.
Learn more about the propositions and candidates on the ballot before you go out and vote this November!
Light refreshments will be served.
If you are unable to make it to the event on the 30th, RSVP for the October 31st event.
Please fill out an RSVP by October 25th, 2018.
In partnership with the Mike Curb College of Arts, Media and Communication Department of Journalism & Department of Communication Studies, NewseumED and the League of Women Voters.
